Happy 31st birthday Luke!

Jan. 20 marked Luke's 31st birthday.  It of course was a work day but we made sure to make it special.  We   picked daddy up from work and took him to his restaurant of choice.  He picked the location based on their dessert, of course, but when we got there they didn't have it.  Big time buzz kill.  But in true Luke fashion, he rolled with the punches and made the most of it.

Not sure what's up with Traeger's facial expression or the lovely decorations in the back but we enjoyed our birthday lunch date with daddy.

We each took a bite of the cookie.  Can you guess which bite is Luke's?  Ataly's?  Traeger's?  Mine?

After Luke finished work we headed down to the Youth Center.  I threw in some pizzas, served chips, soda and cookies and we enjoyed visiting and playing games with all our friends and the youth that came down to wish Luke a happy birthday!

We love you like crazy Lucas Hatfield.  We're thankful for the ways God has made you and is transforming you into His image.  You make our days brighter and more fun by just being you.  A few of the things we love about you are...your joy, humility, patience, always spurring us on toward following hard after Christ and reminding us there's is nothing better, your glass "full" approach to life, your flexibility, your integrity, how you can make a game out of anything, your presence (when you're with us we feel valued and loved), compassion toward others, your love for variety, your godly wisdom, the incredible mind God has given you and your faithfulness. I consider it a blessing to be your wife and a privilege to be on the journey celebrating LIFE together with Traeger and Ataly and anyone we come in contact with.

Happy birthday Lucas Hatfield...you're worth celebrating!
