The first weekend in August was our scheduled date for closing on our house. Though we had already "moved" from Medford we still had to make one more trip to move the remainder of our stuff and close on our house . Oh so we thought. We were in route to Medford when we got the call that the closing date was pushed back. The buyers financing hadn't been cleared yet. God had other plans. We had already scheduled our annual trip to Royal Tokyo with dear friends that same weekend so we decided to keep trekking north. It turned out to be a refreshing weekend, amid lots of changes in the last 3 weeks, to return to familiar surroundings and special friends. Our original goal wasn't met but our hearts were refreshed and encouraged to keep on keeping on. Plus God opened the door for one more trip to our old stomping grounds before life would officially never be the same.
