I received a call from Traeger's teacher informing me that Traeger's splint had cracked and wondered what I would like to do about it. (Not sure how it happened. Boys will be boys. Any more explanation needed?!) The timing worked out well because I was already on my way to drop Ataly off for school. After arriving and getting Ataly situated in her class I peeked in on Traeger and discovered that it wasn't just a little crack but it had completely broke in half. After a few phone calls to the doctor and the OT Traeger and I were on our way to get a new splint made.
Oops!
Thankful for a car to get to the doctor 20 minutes away, the ability to have medical care and a new splint to help his thumb heal.
