We've done and experienced a lot of things in that time. Change has been our only constant. My mom, Ataly and I ventured south to TX to reconnect with the family Luke and I used to nanny for, Luke traveled to Chicago on a youth mission trip, Luke and I attended a support raising boot camp, packed loads of boxes, we've said good-bye to dear friends, sold and moved our 219 Lincoln St. home, closed a 6 year chapter of being a youth pastor's family, attended our annual Hatfield family vacation, raised support in just under 3 months, found a new church family, settled into temporary housing, experienced the joys of living closer to family, broken 2 bones (Luke's ankle, Ataly's wrist), 1 trip to the ER, both kids fell off a horse (by God's grace they both walked away without injury), met A LOT of new people, started up a new ministry to college students, got acquainted and started in a new school district, and have an accepted offer on a house one block from campus. And that's just the big stuff people. There are LOTS of little details in between all of that too.
I'm thankful that through our transition from Medford to Ripon God has been our rock through the big and little steps we've had to take. One of Traeger's prayers recently was, "Thank you that every step of faith we take draws us closer to you Jesus."
We're living proof that taking the steps of faith, following God's leading and trusting God is sufficient through the good, the bad and ugly times of life is worth it. It hasn't been a cake walk folks, rather a faith walk. And all only by God's amazing grace and power of the Spirit at work are we still standing tall.
