The day after I got a stress fracture in my foot, Traeger fell chasing friends at a park and broke his thumb. I watched Traeger fall and it didn't appear to be a "break your thumb" kind of fall. He immediately came running over crying that it hurt. Thinking there is no way he too broke a bone, we waited a week to take him in to get x-rays. He occasionally complained of it hurting, but was a tough cookie. The doctor too thought it was just a sprain, but wanted to get x-rays just to make sure. The x-rays clearly revealed that Traeger indeed had a displaced, broken bone.
We all have officially broke something in the last 3 months since moving to Ripon.
Crazier things have happened I'm sure, but this has to rank somewhere.
